I have to admit, I was really looking forward to the June Edition Look Incredible beauty box this month. I did originally plan to do a post last friday but with me being so poorly last week, I just couldn’t manage it on top of all my other responsibilities. Although it was a really nice little ‘pick me up’ to be honest, especially since I was missing all the beautiful weather. I really missed blogging last week and I have to say it is so nice to be getting back into the swing of things. I’m feeling a little better now and a girls got to power on through so I thought it would be nice to come back and write a post about all the treats Look Incredible have included in this month’s standard edition box.
Stila Major Major Lash Mascara – Black – RRP £15.00
It was nice to get a Mascara in the box because I’m actually running out of my benefit one and it’s always good to try out new products that I havn’t had the chance to before. I’ve pretty much been a no makeup nelly for the past 2 weeks due to the heat and the way I’ve been feeling but I did give this a little test and I think it’s pretty decent. I’m liking the wand and it really gives my lashes a fuller effect and really helps the emphasise their volume and length.
Coastal Scent Sleek Silhouette Palette – RRP £22.00
This gorgeous makeup palette by Coastal Scent features nine highlight, contour and blush shades to illuminate, sculpt and lift. This product has to be my favourite makeup goodie in my Look Incredible box, I love a good makeup palette and this one just packs everything you need into one. I’m still yet to play around with all 9 of the colours provided but I’ve had a go with a few of the highlighter and contour shades and so far I’m really liking them. They are really easy to build up and the highlighters add a lovely, subtle glow – the lightest shade works really well to brighten underneath the eye area. It will be nice to incorporate this little beaut into my daily makeup routine and I’m likely going to be doing a full, detailed review with swatches and all that jazz in the near future so keep your eyes peeled for that if your interested.
Essie Nail Polish – Steel-ing The Scene – RRP £7.99
I haven’t really used Essie nail polish for a really long time and I don’t own any in my collection at the minute so I guess it’s nice to give it a try. I got a silvery, metallic colour in my box which isn’t something I’ll probably be wearing a huge amount but never the less, I don’t have a silver at the moment and it will probably be a nice shade to have as a possible nail art option. I think it might even look good as a base colour prior to using silver holographic glitter, I’m sure I’ll be able to find something to do with it and I’ll likely have a play at some point just to see what I can come up with.
BelláPierre Cosmetics Kiss Proof Lip Crème – Coral Stone – RRP £20.00
Oo la laa! This is another favourite in my box, this colour is just absolutely beautiful and perfect for the warmer weather. The formula smells good enough to eat, a bit like strawberry and it feels so comfortable and moisturising on my lips. I like the way the product applies evenly and it’s dry and transfer proof with in just a few minutes. The colour is a gorgeous coral nude I just adore and it’s also a cruelty free product with a fantastic formula that leaves a velvet smooth matte finish. I’m a massive fan of products that deliver on providing a none drying liquid lipstick without compromising the products wearability or longevity so I’ve been super impressed by the kiss proof lip crème by Bella Pierre.
Roc Soothing & Repairing Balm 150ml – £7.99
I’ve actually been using this quite a lot recently as an after sun care product to sooth and nourish my skin after being out in the sunshine. I’m naturally fair skinned and I’m prone to sensitivity so I try to take care of my skin as best I can by wearing an SPF sun care cream which obviously helps but I can still go a little pink. This feels gorgeous to massage into my skin after I’ve been out all day and it definitely has that much needed soothing effect to calm and repair. The formula is infused with Shea Butter to make this after sun balm not only great for its soothing abilities, but it’s also intensely moisturisering to leave your skin feeling super soft too.
So I have to say it’s been another great standard edition beauty box this month from Look Incredible with some fantastic beauty treats packed inside. I think the product I’ll least use is probably going to be the nail Polish but I’ll definitely get lots of use out of everything else. I can’t really complain when I’ve spent just £25.00 and received five full sized products at a value of £72.98. This makes me so impatient/excited for next months box and I’m hoping to be wowed just as much in July as I have been these past 2 months as a very happy subscriber to Look Incredible.
If your looking at getting yourself signed up with a beauty subscription service but your unsure which one to go for then I’d whole heartedly recommend you give this one a go. They even do a deluxe version of the box for £10.00 more which features higher end brands and a larger box value for your money if you fancy stepping it up a notch so I’ll put links below if anyone is a teeny bit tempted.
