The month of May has come to an end and I thought it would be a nice idea to start doing monthly favourites posts. May has been a really busy month for me with finishing up at university for the year so I’ve had a fair bit of work to be getting on with and it’s also my birthday month so I’ve been a busy bee lately. There are a few things I’ve been absolutley loving this month and I just really wanted to share my favourites with all you lovely peeps so grab yourself a drink, make yourself comfy and I hope you enjoy the read.
As we are getting closer to summer, the sunshine has been making a more regular and indeed a much welcomed appearance through the month. Environ is an advanced skincare brand I’ve worked closely with through my first year at uni and Environs RAD sun care cream has became a much loved skincare essential. There are so many sun creams on the market at the moment and it can be so hard to choose one that works well for you. The RAD SPF 15 sun care cream by Environ is a low chemical alternative packed with sun reflectors, antioxidants, Vitamin C and Vitamin E to fight free radials and keep your skin free from ultra violet damage. This is a product great for use all year round, a little goes a long way and with it being suitable for use from 6 months+, it’s ideal to share with little ones too.
I’ve been using this magic little bottle of skin friendly goodness since around March time and it’s still as loved now as it was back then when I first started using it (you can read my full review here). There is something really relaxing about its delightful aroma that’s made it perfect for use as a luxury night treatment oil to rejuvenate and nourish my skin. It’s been especially useful this month with me having exams to sit and deadlines to meet for university because on top of being a parent and all my other responsibilities, all those things mashed together equal stress which has without a doubt taken its toll on my skin. The pressures really been on me latley so this products really been a life saver – giving me a nice glowy, dewy complexion to pick me up when I’ve not been feeling or looking my best. This serum feels amazing on application, it just melts into my skin – it just feels and smells so beautiful, it really adds that little extra touch of something special into my routine so I just couldnt not give it a mention on this post.
I am so incredibly lucky to have the sweetest mom who gifted me this incredibly beautiful Pandora ring for my birthday this month. The design of it is so pretty and it means so much that I have such a meaningful gift from one of the most important people in my life. Pandora offer some gorgeous jewelry peices in their collection at present so if your looking for a nice gift idea for a loved one or you just want to treat yourself to something special, it’s worth checking them out.
This beautiful, pink highlighter blush from Ciate London has been a favourite of mine throughout the month, ever since I received it in my May Standard Edition Look Incredible beauty box. The packaging is so enchanting and pretty, it almost makes me not want to use it but it gives such a gorgeous glow and it catches the light so wonderfully – I can’t help but use this on a regular basis. The product has great lasting power, the colour is buildable, easy to blend and it matches my skin tone perfectly. I’d only really tried the odd Ciate nail polish before this so it was nice to try something else from the Ciate London collection and its worked out even better that I’m just totally in love with this blush after giving it a try.
This is one of my absolute favourite drugstore moisturisers at the moment, it feels so hydrating and it works super well when it comes to tackling my dry skin. The consistency of the product is pretty good, it’s not to thick of too thin, it quickly absorbs into my skin within a minute or two and leaves it feeling so silky soft all through the day. The formula incorporates Colloidal Oatmeal as it’s main ingredient to hydrate and sooth dry skin types for up to 24 hours. If you’ve got dry, sensitive skin or your just looking for a decent drug store moisturising cream then I could not reccommend this little beauty enough.
