Wikaniko’s organically grown Moringa Oil boasts to be a natural, cruelty free and earth friendly skincare choice. This product acts as a natural anti-ageing oil that soothes and nourishes the skin. Its an anti-oxidant, It claims to effectively treat acne skin conditions and speeds up the healing time of cuts and bruises. It’s an anti-bacterial product and its also suitable to use on babies and children so it’s perfect for everyone. The Moringa oil comes in a 100ml bottle and the oil is extracted from around 1.2 kilos of organically grown moringa seeds. Moringa oil also contains vitamin C and as I have done so much research on the benefits of this vitamin, I know just how wonderful this truly is for the skin. Vitamin C stimulates collagen, hydrates, heals and lightens and brightens the skin. Me being the skincare enthusiast that I am, I’m always wanting to try out new skincare creams, oils etc and I especially love to test out eco-friendly options.
I’m suffering with extremely dry skin at the moment so I was really looking forward to testing out this oil and hopefully giving my skin some much needed moisture. The packaging is nice and simple, the oil comes in a black bottle with a gold label on the front. The oil itself is quite a rich oil and a little goes a long way. This skincare oil is totally natural and none perfumed so it hasn’t had any artificial fragrance added to it and it’s really kind to my sensitive, dry skin.
I’ve been massaging this oil into my skin daily since I received it and I actually really love the results I’m already seeing. It is quite a rich product so I don’t need to use a lot of it and I initially thought that it would be a bit heavy to wear during the day. It actually soaks into my skin and settles really well so I haven’t ended up looking or feeling oily at all. My skin just has a healthy, soft glow to it and it certainly does feel much softer in texture. On my face, I tend to make a little ‘skincare cocktail’ and I mix some of this oil in with my regular facial moisturiser. It also works really great as a cuticle oil when I’m giving myself a mini manicure and when my hair feels on the drier side, it’s nice to mix a tiny bit in with my conditioner or use it as a hair treatment.
The oil actually feels really beautiful on contact with my skin, it feels so silky and velvety. Some body oils I’ve used in the past tend to just sit on top of my skin without really doing anything for it but this one soaks in well and really does leave the skin feeling so soft and smooth. I’ve also been finding it useful to treat my post-baby stretch marks and it even works well as a facial cleanser to draw out impurities, refresh and wash the day away from my skin. I have found that my skins taken to this oil really well and I haven’t had any major issues with breakouts or any sort of irritation from using this.
For those of you that follow my blog, you’ll know that I also have two small children and I tend to sway towards natural skin care options when it comes to their skincare needs. Both of my little ones suffer with dry skin and I’ve found this oil to be really effective on treating dry patches and I’ve found it a really lovely product to use on them after bath time. My oldest has really thick curly hair so I use oils on a daily basis in his hair. This is a really nice one to massage into the scalp and really nourish dry, tired hair. I’m also a big fan of baby massage as a really nice way of bonding with baby so I’ve actually found this oil has been really good to spend some quality time with my littlest man after his bath or just before bedtime.
This is certainly a good option if like myself, you have sensitive, eczema prone skin and a dry skin type or if your looking for a natural anti-ageing treatment or preventative. I’ve found it a really fabulous product to use for not just me but my whole family and I truly think it’s so great that the Moringa Oil has so many uses and benefits.

Such gorgeous photos, wow! You are a flatlay queen! I must say that I love the multi-purpose nature of coconut oil, I don’t think there’s a single thing you can’t use it for, but this product looks like it could rival it! Sounds like you’re getting such great results from it, and the fact that a little goes a long way is a big selling point too! Thanks for sharing such an in depth review!

Ooh abbey you’ve made my day saying that! Thank you for such a lovely comment :). Yes I definitely think it could rival coconut oil although I’ve tried mixing them and they actually work super well together!

It’s so good bryony! It’s just 100% natural moringa oil so it’s great to use on its own or you can mix a small amount in with your regular moisturiser to give it a boost! Also works fab as a cleansing oil :).
